Search for the lost civilisation

Hiking through Yagmingshan’s bamboo trails to seek out the legendary hidden pyramids made another great ‘Indiana Jones’ style adventure! There are a few theories about a ‘pyramid shaped mound of rock’ at the peek of Yangmingshan (七星山), we decided to investigate it ourselves. Some believe its a clue to to a megalithic civilisation long ago in Taiwan’s fascinating history.  

Either way, It made for a great hike with spectacular views over Taipei. Well worth checking out if you get the chance.
