Hualien Adventure
On this weekend retreat to Hualien you will get in amongst some of Taiwan’s most majestic scenery. From a picturesque lodge set in front of Taroko Gorge, each day will make the most of a natural playground waiting to be explored!
Orientation at the lodge
Hop on a train from Songshan station on Friday evening after work and head to Hualien for a delicious dinner & celebratory drinks. The base for the weekend has great views of Taroko Gorge and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast is included.
River Tracing
With the aid of a local guide, we’ll use a combination of swimming and climbing to get to a breathtaking mountain setting. Geared up with a wetsuit jacket, river tracing boots and specialist equipment, relax and enjoy this exhilarating journey. Packed lunch and transport and complimentary tea tasting provided.
Hiking Taroko Gorge
A trip to Hualien would not be complete without a visit to Taroko Gorge. With a minivan rented, the group will be dropped off at a location in the gorge where you’ll enjoy a few small trails and a trip to a wild hot spring.
